Meijer Meal Planning Week 8/24: 7 Meals Under $60

Happy Sunday! It’s a new shopping week at Meijer! Take a moment to subscribe to our Meijer only newsletter. Get all the deals delivered to your email daily!

This is the third week of bringing you these awesome budget friendly meal planning for all of you Meijer Shoppers! I’m still working and tweaking this system, so if you have any feedback, please let me know! You can find more Meijer Meal Planning ideas HERE (including the Non- GF Meals 7 meals under $60 for this week!)

For this week, using the Favado App and our Meijer Matchups posted here on A Mitten Full Of Savings, I’ve been able to come up with a whole week’s worth of dinners that will cost you less than $60, along with a few things from your pantry!  We aren’t talking everything from a box either!  These are pretty healthy meals, at a low Meijer price that will be pretty quick and easy to make any night of the week.

  • This is based off of a family of 4-5- so you will need to adjust it accordingly for a bigger or smaller family.
  • All items are on sale or part of the lower Meijer price. If you don’t have the pantry items, then you will need to add those into your final price. (sale dates 8/24-8/30)

1 can Bush’s Grillin Beans

Directions: Mix the ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs, and seasonings until well incorporated.  Form into a loaf on a rimmed baking sheet and bake in 400°F oven for 1 hour, until no pink remains in the center.  Shuck the corn and boil for 3 minutes.  Heat the beans.  Serve all hot.

Meal 2 – Hotdogs, Mac & Cheese, and Green Bean Salad $4.96

***Hotdogs are always fun on the grill. However for this meal I have a substitute for  those that may not want to do hotdogs: Taco Cups – (remember those Pillsbury Biscuits were part of the 10 for 10 sale last week?)

Meal 3 – Pasta $4.28

1 28 oz can Dei Fratelli tomato sauce

1 T oregano (pantry)

1 T basil (pantry)

1 T minced garlic (pantry)

2 lbs Barilla pasta, any variety

*I’m adding Cole’s Garlic bread (picked up from a Kroger MEGA deal for .49 cents)

Directions: Place the tomatoes, oregano, basil, and garlic in a large saucepan and simmer for 30 minutes.  Cook the pasta according to directions.  Serve the sauce over the pasta.

**For this Pasta meal, I’ll be doing this: Linguine, Alfredo and Veggies meal!

Another option is this Easy Summer Pasta Primeavera recipe.
