It takes just minutes to start simmering and depending on how much you make, within an hour and a half you’ll have starters for as many recipes is your pot can handle. What to Use in Chicken Recipe Starter

I always start out my Chicken Recipe Starter with a few simple ingredients. Celery, onions, carrots, and garlic form the basis of my dish. It starts off the Chicken Recipe Starter with a great flavor that goes well with many dishes. Sometimes I’ll add in a green pepper, sometimes corn, and a few chicken pieces or maybe even a whole chicken, depending on what’s on sale. The ingredients for Chicken Recipe Starter infuses a great flavor without a lot of hassle.

  •  4 carrots, sliced
  • 4 stalks celery, sliced, tops included
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, seeds removed and diced
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 3 chicken pieces

Chicken Recipe Starter Ingredients

Place the vegetables and oil in a large stockpot.  Saute over medium heat until veggies start to brown, about 4 minutes.

Add the chicken and saute another minute.

Add enough water to cover all ingredients.

Simmer 1-2 hours, until chicken is tender and falling off the bone.

Remove the chicken and pull the meat from the bones, returning the meat to the pot and discarding the rest of the chicken.

Allow to cool.  Place in freezer containers and label.

Freeze.  If in a refrigerator freezer, use within 3 months.  If in a deep freeze, use within 1 year.

What Can I Use Chicken Recipe Starter For

The list is nearly endless.  I’ll simmer about 2 cups of Chicken Recipe Starter, adding a little extra water, then crack some ramen noodles in the pan.  It makes a fantastic and easy chicken noodle lunch.  Or simmer a whole pot until boiling, add egg noodles, and you have chicken noodle soup.  Make a gravy by adding a thin paste of water and flour to the broth, then you can make chicken and noodles, chicken pot pie, or chicken and dumplings.  All it takes is a little imagination to come up with all kinds of recipes for Chicken Recipe Starter.
