This is the  week of bringing you these awesome budget friendly meal planning for all of you Meijer Shoppers. You can find more Meijer Meal Planning ideas HERE 

For this week, using the Favado App and our Meijer Matchups posted here on A Mitten Full Of Savings, I’ve been able to come up with a whole week’s worth of dinners that will cost you less than $36 bucks, along with a few things from your pantry! You can also print out my FREE Meal Planning printables that will help you plan and organize your meals each week! (this is always super helpful for me!!)

  • This is based off of a family of 4-5- so you will need to adjust it accordingly for a bigger or smaller family.
  • All items are on sale or part of the lower Meijer price. If you don’t have the pantry items, then you will need to add those into your final price. (sale dates )

Meijer Meal Planning Week 7/19 : 6 Meals Under $36

Meal 1: Pork Stir Fry $4.31

  • 1 lb boneless pork tenderloin, cut into thin strips
  • 2 T olive or sesame oil (pantry)
  • 1 bunch green onions, sliced
  • 1 zucchini, sliced thin
  • 1 yellow squash, sliced thin
  • 1 onion, diced (pantry)
  • ½ bottle Teriyaki sauce
  • 2 C long grain white rice (pantry)
  • 4 C water

Directions: Place the water and rice in a saucepan and cover. Heat to simmering and simmmer 20 minutes or until the water is absorbed. Heat the oil over medium high heat. Add the pork and saute until no pink remains. Add the vegetables and saute until tender. Swirl the sauce around the pan and stir to coat. Serve over the rice.

Meal 2: Salmon and Kale Salad $6.91

  • 1 lb fresh Atlantic salmon filet
  • 1 bunch kale, rinsed and torn into bite sized pieces
  • 1 bunch green onions, diced
  • ½ bunch radishes, sliced
  • 2 salad cucumbers, sliced
  • 1 bottle salad dressing (pantry)

Directions: Place the salmon on a baking sheet and bake in 425°F oven until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 10 minutes. Flake fish and discard skin. Place vegetables in a bowl and toss with fish. Serve with salad dressing.

Meal 3: Chicken Picante with Rice $5.24

  • 2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 1 jar Pace Picante salsa, any variety
  • 2 C long grain white rice (pantry)
  • 4 C water

Directions: Place chicken in a slow cooker. Top with salsa and cover. Set to low for 6 hours. When chicken is cooked, place rice and water in a saucepan and cover. Bring to a simmer and cook 20 minutes, until the water is absorbed. Flake the chicken and serve with the sauce over rice.

Meal 4: French Toast and Sausage $4.36

  • 1 loaf Sunbeam bread
  • 6 eggs (pantry)
  • ½ C milk (pantry)
  • ½ t vanilla (pantry)
  • ½ t cinnamon (pantry)
  • 1 pkg Meijer sausage links, any variety
  • butter and syrup (pantry)

Directions: Place sausage on a baking sheet and bake in 425°F oven until no pink remains, about 14 minutes. In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs. Add milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix well. Heat griddle or pan to 350°F and spray with nonstick cooking spray. Dip bread in egg mixture, turning to coat. Place on griddle and cook until browned. Turn and cook other side. Repeat with remaining bread. Serve with sausage, butter, and syrup.

Meal 5: Italian Green Beans $6.23

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced (pantry)
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled (pantry)
  • 2 lbs green beans, ends removed
  • 1 40 oz jar tomato sauce
  • 1 T dried oregano (pantry)
  • ½ t dried basil (pantry)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • parmesan cheese, if desired

Directions: Brown ground beef with onion and garlic; drain. Add beans, tomato sauce, and seasonings. Simmer, covered 30 minutes, adding water if sauce becomes too thick. Serve with parmesan cheese and bread, if desired.

Meal 6: Turkey Burgers and Fries $8.49

  • 1 pkg Jennie-O ground turkey
  • 1 pkg Meijer English muffins
  • 1 pkg Ore-Ida fries, any variety
  • condiments as desired (pantry)

Directions: Form turkey into burgers. Grill or broil until cooked throughout. Prepare fries as directed on package. Serve burgers on toasted English muffins and top as desired.
