This is the  week of bringing you these awesome budget friendly meal planning for all of you Meijer Shoppers. You can find more Meijer Meal Planning ideas HERE 

For this week, using the Favado App and our Meijer Matchups posted here on A Mitten Full Of Savings, I’ve been able to come up with a whole week’s worth of dinners that will cost you less than $50, along with a few things from your pantry!   You can also print out my FREE Meal Planning printables that will help you plan and organize your meals each week! (this is always super helpful for me!!)

  • This is based off of a family of 4-5- so you will need to adjust it accordingly for a bigger or smaller family.
  • All items are on sale or part of the lower Meijer price. If you don’t have the pantry items, then you will need to add those into your final price. (sale dates )

It’s 10 for $10 at Meijer this week and they have some great things on sale!  Check out these 6 meals that will feed your family for less!

Meal 1:  Pulled Pork with Roasted Potatoes and Vegetables  $10.76

  • 4 lb pork shoulder butt
  • 2 bottles Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce, any variety
  • 1 pkg Klondike potatoes, scrubbed and cubed
  • 2 T olive oil (pantry)
  • Salt (pantry)
  • 1 pkg Meijer frozen vegetables, any variety

Directions:  Place the pork, fat side up, in a large slow cooker and pour 1 bottle of the barbecue sauce over the top.  Cover and set to low for 6-8 hours.  Remove the pork, shred, discarding any fat, and return to the slow cooker.  Add the second bottle of barbecue sauce and cover, on low, for about 30 minutes.  Place the potatoes on a rimmed baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and salt.  Place in a 425°F oven for 20-30 minutes, until potatoes are browned and tender.  Prepare the vegetables as directed on the package.

Meal 2:  Cowboy Casserole  $3.99

  • 3 C leftover pulled pork
  • 1 pkg Meijer frozen hash browns
  • 1 pkg Kraft shredded sharp cheddar

Directions:  Spray a 9×13 pan with nonstick spray.  Press the hash browns into the pan and bake in a 400°F oven for 15 minutes.  Layer the pulled pork and cheese on top of the hash browns and return to the oven for 20 minutes.

Meal 3:  Taco Casserole  $5.29

  • 1 lb Jennie-O ground turkey
  • 1 can Old El Paso refried beans, any variety
  • 1 pkg Meijer Taco Seasoning
  • 3 roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 pkg Jiffy corn muffin mix (plus ingredients per package)
  • Shredded cheese, if desired

Directions:  Prepare the muffin mix as directed on the package and pour into a greased 9×9 pan.  Set aside.  Brown the turkey until no pink remains.  Add the taco seasoning per the directions on the package and simmer until no liquid remains.  Place the turkey on top of the corn muffin batter.  Top with tomatoes and bake in a 400°F oven for 20-25 minutes, until the corn muffin mix is done throughout.  Top with cheese, if desired.

Meal 4: Easy Chicken Fried Rice  $4.99

  • 1 pkg Knorr chicken fried rice (plus ingredients per package)
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 red or yellow pepper, diced
  • 1 pkg mini bella mushrooms, diced

Directions:  Saute the chicken, pepper, and mushrooms in 2 T olive oil over medium high heat, until no pink remains in the chicken.  Remove from pan and follow the directions on the package of rice, making it in the same pan as the chicken.  When the rice is cooked, add the chicken and vegetables back in, sauteing for about 2 minutes.

Meal 5:  Salmon and Salads  $8.38

  • 1 pkg Meijer frozen salmon, thawed and patted dry
  • 1 pkg Dole salad blend
  • ½ lb roma tomatoes, chopped
  • ½ greenhouse cucumber, chopped
  • 1 broccoli crown, chopped
  • Salad dressing (pantry)

Directions:  Place the salmon on a baking sheet and sprinkle with salt and pepper.  Place in a 425°F oven for 10-15 minutes, until fish flakes easily with a fork.  Place the remaining ingredients in 4 bowls.  Top with the salmon and dressing, if preferred.

Meal 6:  Smoked Sausage, Fries, and Broccoli  $4.99

  • 1 pkg John Morrell smoked sausage
  • 1 pkg Meijer fries, any variety
  • 2 broccoli crowns

Directions:  Grill or bake the sausage until brown.  Prepare the fries as directed on the package.  Steam the broccoli in the microwave or in a pan with water, until crisp-tender.

This week, these 6 fabulous meals will only cost $38.40!
