Stockpile Trip: My Meijer Run 10/5/2013; 80% Savings

So for the past few weeks I have been working on stockpile deals. Each week I will be sharing the deals that I purchased. I will be adding my meal planning for each week so you can see what I am doing with all of my deals.

I hope that it helps you!

One reason why I feel that this will be helpful, especially if you’re in the Lansing/surrounding areas you can see what is a good stockpile price for THIS area which will differ from other areas.

Last week Meijer had 18 oz size of Oatmeal Cereal on sale for $1.00 (wyb mix/match 6 participating items). Plus there was a $1/2 coupon that came out last week. This made the final price just .50 cents each.

This is a staple in our house for Apple Crisp, Hot cereal and great for other baking dishes.

I did not shop until Saturday afternoon. And you know what that means, right? Everything was pretty much gone!

So I decided to take this deal and price match at Walmart. The only thing I really like about shopping at Walmart is that you can price match.

So I picked up 36 of them!

Total before coupons was $89.28. After the $1/2 coupons I paid $18.00! That was a 79% savings!

I also picked up 12 50 oz bottles of Tide. Tide at Walmart was $11.97. I priced matched a deal that Meijer had going on as well for $5.99- $2.00 off Meijer mperk- $3.99

Then I stacked the $2.00 off coupon making the final price for the tide $1.99. Plus I will submit the rebate card to get a $10 prepaid card back!

So total tide- $143.64. I paid $23.88 plus getting a $10.00 off card back, so just $13.88 (that comes out to $1.15 each per bottle of Tide)- that comes out to a 90% savings!!

I also picked up a few odds and ends at Meijer that week

I picked up 20 boxes of Pasta (select varieties)- on sale at Meijer for $1.00. Use $1/2 coupons, so they were .50 cents each

I also picked up garlic bread for .88 cents

I grabbed 2 59 oz of Minute Maid Orange Juice- on sale for $2.79 plus used a .55 cents/1 coupon. And there is a 75/1 Ibotta credit.

I also picked up 10 different varieties of Dannon Kid Yogurt that was on sale for $1.89 used a .75/1 coupon

Total price $73.80. I paid $27.54

So total spent for last week was $59.42! (retail value $306.72)- 80% savings!

You can see my Stockpile trip from 9/29 at Meijer!
