
Pressure Cooker Recipe | Instant Pot Corn Chowder Soup Recipe

You can use any electric pressure cooker, but make sure you double check instructions to see that you are using the correct settings for your version. Ingredients for Corn Chowder Soup
- 1/2 cup chopped white onions
- 1 cup chopped carrots
- 1 package, 10 oz, frozen corn
- 1 can, 14.75 oz, cream style corn
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup half and half
- 2 tablespoons

Directions for Corn Chowder Soup
- Add onions, carrots, frozen and canned corn to the Instant Pot with broth and spices. Mix well.
- Place the lid onto the instant pot and seal shut. Close the pressure release valve.
- Set the instant pot to manual, high pressure for 5 minutes. When the cooking cycle is complete, open lid and carefully stir in half and half.
- If you’d like the chowder thicker, set the instant pot to saute and when the mixture begins to boil and bubble, add cornstarch and water mixture, continuing to stir until thick.
- Serve topped with bacon and parsley if desired.
